Ed Bradley, a Senior broadcast journalist for the popular CBS news show “60 Minutes” died earlier today at Mount Sinai hospital from complications related to leukemia. He was just 65 years old.
Bradley is best remembered for his innovative brand of journalism which had earned him numerous awards and significant praise from his peers throughout his 26 years at CBS.
Amongst his many achievements, Bradley has won 19 Emmys; a Peabody award for his report on AIDS in Africa; a Lifetime Achievement award from the National Association of Black Journalists, and a George Polk Award…
Bradley is survived by his wife Patricia Blanchet.
